Driving in Belgium
The motorway network is dense, free for cars and famously well-lit. Distances are short, so you'll cover the country quickly. Traffic around Brussels and Antwerp is heavy at peak times - plan pickups and returns outside rush hour where you can.
Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent run low-emission zones in their centres; as elsewhere, parking on the edge and walking in is the simplest approach. Priority-from-the-right rules apply on many local streets.
